Spa Gregorie’s uses state of the art microdermabrasion tools to rejuvenate tired, dry and problematic skin.
Winter, a season of hectic holiday schedules; cooler, drier weather; and serious overindulgence, is the perfect time for a little rehab – for your skin, that is. Microdermabrasion, the revolutionary skin resurfacing technique, has maximum results during this time of year, when skin is less likely to be exposed to harsh sunlight.
During the microdermabrasion process, an esthetician uses a small hose-like tool to literally blast tiny magnesium oxide crystals onto the skin that work to quickly and safely remove a thin external layer of the skin. A second small hose-like tool follows to remove the crystals and dead skin. The result is noticeably brighter, healthier and younger looking skin. This process is also recommended for the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles, large pores and scar tissue.
“It is really the deepest form of exfoliation,” says Sophia Parmenter, one of Spa Gregorie’s lead estheticians. “More aggressive treatments balance skin texture, even embedded acne cells.” According to Parmenter, results are increased when the treatment is performed as part of a series, ideally spaced apart about three to four weeks.
“Microdermabrasion is a wonderful alternative to more invasive surgical procedures aimed at improving the appearance and youthfulness of skin,” says Spa Principal Angela Cortright. “It accelerates cell turnover as well as collagen production for firmer, more glowing skin.”
The Spa offers microdermabrasion treatments starting at $140 for a single visit, and $380 for a series of three. Consultations are complimentary. Click Here to view all microdermabrasion services
